Bocconi University celebrates the end of a successful period with the Intramural Spring Games 2023. This year's edition saw over 500 students competing for months to earn a coveted spot on the podium, showcasing their dedication and sportsmanship.
On April 27th, our Bocconi Sport Center has been the theatre of the Final Event of the Intramural Games, powered by our partner Adidas. Bocconi University experienced a triumphant day filled with various events that brought together the Community, the Associations, and the Media Center, involving hundreds of students that contributed to the success of the event.
Among the highlights of the day there is the presence of our special guest Nicolò Melli, renowned basketball player from Olimpia Milano and Italian National Team and Adidas Athlete.
Students were thrilled to have the opportunity to play with the renowned athlete, although few were successful in defeating him on the court. During his visit to Bocconi University, he provided invaluable insights into the world of professional sports and shared his personal journey to success.
Another great news for our Community has been the presence of an E-games corner, powered by Ak Informatica, that offered the possibility to enjoy videogames like FIFA 23 and Fall Guys and to try the experience of a real driving simulator.
As is customary, the audience was entertained by the cheerleaders and the musical association Blpsa-Bocconi Live Performance Student Association, who put on a captivating performance.
The AcquaGames event has been a foundamental moment: a highly anticipated occasion at Bocconi University, providing swimmers and students alike with an exhilarating opportunity to unwind and connect with one another. This annual event features a diverse range of exciting activities that are updated and reimagined each year to keep things fresh and engaging.
The day culminated in the announcement of the winning teams, who emerged victorious after months of intense competition.
The Volleyball Esselunga Team, Football 5-a-side Muchachos, and Interventna basketball team all secured their places on the podium, along with Team Omeghini and Gianluca Ravasio, who were victorious in the Ping-Pong Double and Single categories, respectively.
Overall, Bocconi University's celebration of the Intramural Spring Games was a resounding success, providing a platform for students to showcase their talent, sportsmanship, and dedication to their craft.
