On Thursday April 11th, the Bocconi Golf Team had the pleasure to play against LUISS in the picturesque field of Acquasanta Golf Club.
This matchup, born from a longstanding partnership between our universities, was a testament to the solidarity and competitive spirit shared between our teams. We extend our gratitude to LUISS for organizing this edition and graciously hosting the event. Special thanks also go to our coach, Andrea Vercesi, whose guidance and innovative game format added to the excitement of the day. With 8 players on each side, the competition was fierce.
The fourth edition of this event unfolded against the enchanting landscape of Rome, beginning with a practice round on Wednesday and culminating in the main tournament the following day. Despite a promising start for our team during the foursome matches, LUISS ultimately secured the win in the individual rounds.
While the trophy may currently rest in the halls of our partner university, we await for the opportunity to reclaim it in future matches. Until then, we cherish the memories made on the course and look forward to the next chapter in our friendly rivalry.
